Mike Blach to Receive Prestigious Award

SAN JOSE , CA – Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Silicon Valley Chapter and Sacred Heart Community Service announce that Mike Blach will receive one of the chapter’s Distinguished Volunteer Fundraiser award for his philanthropic efforts. The prestigious award is given to volunteers for their time, effort, financial commitment, and contributions to local philanthropy.

Mike Blach has served Sacred Heart Community Service in increasingly greater leadership roles over the past six years. As Chair of the SHCS Funds Development Committee and immediate Past President of the Board of Directors, he inspires friends, family and business acquaintances to donate to SHCS.

“As President of the Board of Directors for 2004-05, Mike has led the Leadership Gifts Committee in the first-ever major gifts campaign for Sacred Heart Community Service,” said Debra Jones, Director of Community Resource Development for SHCS.
