Regular Adult Volunteers ALWAYS needed at Sacred Heart Community Service
Sacred Heart Community Service always needs adult volunteers to help in Louise’s Pantry and Gracie’s Clothes Closet.
Regular weekly volunteers are essential to prepare and distribute food to 20,000 individuals per month. Volunteering one shift per week makes a difference. Help by sorting food donations, packing family and homeless food bags, distributing groceries and produce, or sorting and hanging clothing donations, all while providing service to the customers with dignity, compassion and respect.
To volunteer at Sacred Heart Community Service, please schedule an orientation by contacting our Volunteer Coordinators at (408) 278-2171 or send an email message to the Volunteer Office at volunteers@SacredHeartCommunityService.org
As of January 1st, 2007, we are no longer able to accept walk-in volunteers. All volunteer shifts must be scheduled in advance by contacting the Volunteer Office. Please make sure to confirm your volunteer shift in advance with the Volunteer Office before you come in for your shift. Volunteers that do not confirm in advance may be turned away if we are full that day.
Individuals, families and groups are welcome. |
